MTV’s “Bad Rap” to debut in January on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime video service

The highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Bad Rap series will be released in January, Netflix said Tuesday.

Bad Rap 2 will star Lenny Kravitz as a rapper named Mike, who is also a college student.

The first season premiered on MTV on June 24, 2017.

“We are incredibly excited to bring the original Bad Rap to Netflix, with new episodes airing in January,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Brian Murphy said in a statement.

“In the meantime, Bad Rap fans will be able to enjoy the series on Hulu, Netflix Instant Video and Amazon Prime Video.”

The new season of Bad Rap will be available to stream in January.

Bad rap star L.A. Reid, who plays Mike, said in an Instagram post that the series will launch on Netflix on January 7.

“I’m excited for my fans to experience Bad Rap II, and I hope you’ll give it a try!” he wrote.

“Thank you for watching and supporting me.”
