The new Disney-owned Pixar movie studio is bringing the world a new Pixar animated feature, the latest installment in the wildly popular “Toy Story” series.
The new “Toy” sequel will be available on Netflix on April 18, Disney announced Thursday.
The studio’s new streaming service, Disney Movies Anywhere, will debut later this year.
“Toy Story 2” stars Woody Harrelson, Ellen DeGeneres, and a bunch of new characters, including Buzz Lightyear, Woody’s best friend, and Buzz’s dad.
The sequel is set after Toy Story 3, where Woody is reunited with his best friend Woody Jr. The movie will feature the voices of Paul Reubens, Mandy Moore, and other Pixar stars.
Netflix and Disney Movies anywhere will also bring a slate of movies from Disney’s Pixar Animation Studios to Disney Movies and DVC.
The first “Toy 2” was released in 2017, and is considered the highest-grossing film in the studio’s history.
